Runways
Executive Airport offers two runways and a maximum
gross landing weight of 60,000 pounds dual wheel.
Runway 8/26 measures 6,000 feet by 100 feet. Runway 8 has
an Instrument Landing System. Runway 13/31 measures
4,000 by 100 feet.

The Airport is open 24 hours a day with a
24-hour FAA Air Traffic Control Tower. Phone

Customs
A United States Customs & Border Protection facility is located
on the east side of the Airport for international
arrivals. Service is available seven days a

Police/Security
The Fort Lauderdale Police Department has a Police
Substation located on the Airport
in charge of the facility and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Navarro
Security Group (Tel. 954-931-8632) provides 24-hour contract
security for the Executive Airport and Industrial
Airpark property. The Broward County Sheriff's Department
also maintains its Special Operations Unit, helicopter
unit, marine patrol, bomb squad, and canine unit,
at Executive Airport.
Fire Station
The Fort Lauderdale Fire Department operates a 1500-gallon
aircraft rescue and fire-fighting vehicle out of an
on-Airport Aircraft Rescue and Fire-Fighting Station.
Federal Aviation Regulations do not require Executive
Airport to have fire services; however, the Airport
operates one in the interest of safety and as an additional
service to the Airport users. In addition, to service
the increased office and residential development in the
area, the City of Fort Lauderdale operates Station
88 at NW 21st Avenue and NW 64th Street in the Airport's
Industrial Airpark.
ASOS Weather
Executive Airport also offers an Automated
Surface Observing System (ASOS) automated weather reporting service that provides winds, visibility,
temperature, dew point, and altimeter setting.
