Information Regarding Street Closures in the City of Fort Lauderdale
>> The City of Fort Lauderdale will perform street resurfacing in the Nurmi Isles and Seven Isles neighborhoods. Work will begin the week of May 12, 2008 and is expected to be completed in approximately three weeks. Streets scheduled for resurfacing include: Bontona Avenue; S. Gordon Road; Hendricks Isle; Royal Palms Drive; SE 23 Avenue; SE 23 Terrace; DeSoto Drive; Aqua Vista Boulevard; SE 26 Terrace; Barcelona Drive; Sea Island Drive; Pelican Drive; Castilla Place and Del Mar Place. and Wastewater Capital Improvement Program, WaterWorks
2011, is underway. As the City begins the installation
of new sanitary sewers and repairs to the water and
wastewater infrastructure, several roadways will
be affected by construction throughout the duration
of the project.
