The annexation of Rock Island and Twin Lakes North is official. We are pleased to welcome the residents of both neighborhoods to the City of Fort Lauderdale.
Please be advised that the City of Fort Lauderdale began providing Police and Fire-Rescue services to the Rock Island and Twin Lakes North communities on Monday, November 21, 2005.
Your current sanitation company will continue to provide services to your community on your regularly scheduled pick-up days.
You will be receiving more information about City of Fort Lauderdale services in the near future.
