Each Friday, the City of Fort Lauderdale proudly presents the Bank of America Starlight Musicals concert series. These FREE outdoor concerts provide a great way to enjoy the summer with family and friends.
Now celebrating its 34th year, the Bank of America Starlight Musicals will take place on Friday evenings from June 15 to August 3, 2012. The shows are held from 7 to 10 pm on the football field at Holiday Park, located at East Sunrise Boulevard and Federal Highway. Residents and visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets, and coolers. Please remember that pets are not permitted in the park.
The Bank of America Starlight Musicals will feature an exciting lineup of bands ranging from rhythm and blues to tropical rock. The scheduled performers for 2012 are:

Each week Bank of America will feature a non-profit group to raise awareness of their program and goals. In addition, throughout the 2012 Starlight Musicals series, we will be holding pet and people food drives to benefit The Pantry & Food for the Poor and Abandoned Pet Rescue. Patrons are encouraged to bring a food item each week for a person or a pet.

Bring your family, friends, and neighbors and join us as we celebrate America’s Independence with a full day of entertainment and activities on world famous Fort Lauderdale Beach. The event will take place near A1A and Las Olas Boulevard.
When the sun goes down, watch the sky light up with the City of Fort Lauderdale’s annual fireworks show at 9 p.m. off A1A and Las Olas Boulevard. Don’t miss this dazzling pyrotechnic presentation.

Guests can shop the midday market,- relaxed and perfect for an easy summer afternoon. Vendors will showcase and sell a range of items, including original artwork, adorable hand-stuffed monsters, homemade jams and pasta sauces, handmade soaps, gourmet baked treats and so much more!
Some new, exciting additions have been added to the line-up. Summer of Love will feature live music, midday, as well as a vintage fashion show, presented by Andrew Vincent of Fort Lauderdale’s newest vintage shop, Public Image Vintage Apparel.
Indie Craft Bazaar is also excited to bring back the popular summer free DIY TShirt Tie Dye Stand. Guests have enjoyed the tie dye stand at each summer ICB, and like always, the activity will be free to partake in. Guests are asked to bring an old white t-shirt and all tie dye materials and directions will be provided, free of charge.
