Carlton B. Moore is a long-time
advocate for affordable and attractive housing
in the northwest quadrant of the City of Fort
Lauderdale. Regal Trace on NW 6 Street --
complete with swimming pools, tennis courts,
a daycare
center, and 24-hour security -- is the result
of Commissioner Moore's commitment. In addition,
his advocacy for service in the northwest quadrant
has resulted in the Seventh Avenue Family Health
Center and the development of a post office
on NW 7 Avenue in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
He now plans to focus on the commercial redevelopment
of the area surrounding the Regal Trace development.
