Jim Naugle was first elected
Mayor of the City of Fort Lauderdale in February
1991. He was reelected in 1994, 1997, 2000, 2003 and 2006. Now in his sixth term, Naugle is
the longest serving Mayor in the history of
Fort Lauderdale.
Prior to being elected Mayor, Naugle served
as a Fort Lauderdale City Commissioner from1985
- 1991 and on City Advisory Boards since
1976.
Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Naugle
received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business
Administration from Florida Atlantic University.
He has worked as a real estate professional
for 34 years and operates a real
estate company in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
