Commission Meetings Video Webcast and Archives

To help bring City government to its citizens, the City of Fort Lauderdale makes the City Commission's twice-monthly Conference and Regular Meetings available via the Internet. The meetings are broadcast live from this page on the days the City Commission meets, usually the first and third Tuesdays of each month (except August). After the live broadcast, the meetings are archived and posted here online (the archived video is usually posted on the morning following a meeting).

You need to have Windows Media Player properly installed and configured on your computer to view the video online. Windows Media Player is available free from Microsoft.

The Fort Lauderdale City Commission is normally in recess during the month of August.

Commission Meetings Video Webcasts

The next city commission meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, July 7, 2009. You can watch the meetings live on Channel 78, our government-access cable TV station, or you can watch the live streaming video over the Internet. Check the agendas for the exact schedule. Usually, the Conference Meeting begins at 1:30 pm and the Regular Meeting at 6:00 pm.
