Development OpportunitiesThe CRA has assembled over $2 million in commercial frontage properties on Sistrunk Boulevard from N.W. 24th Avenue to N.W. 4th Avenue. The sites range from 3,500 square feet to approximately 28,000 square feet, including lots envisioned to facilitate mixed-use, commercial and residential development projects. Properties are not for sale. Instead, each is made available to the public via a public disposal process whereby a Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued.
When an individual or entity expresses interest in a property they are added to an interest list. When there is significant interest in a particular piece of property, the CRA will issue an RFP. An RFP is a public, official process whereby private individuals, groups or non-profit organizations may submit proposals to the CRA for review. Submitted proposals are evaluated using the criteria established in the RFP. From the proposals submitted, one may be chosen. The CRA then pursues entering into a development agreement with the chosen proposer. The CRA is striving to make Sistrunk Boulevard a vibrant, safe and clean corridor. To further this goal, we attempt to keep CRA-owned lots free of trash and litter. If you see illegal dumping on one of our lots, please contact the CRA office immediately so we can remedy the situation. |
