Flagler Village

This area, located just north of Downtown, is a thriving mixed-use neighborhood that has experienced unprecendented growth in the past few years. The CRA has partnered with several private developers to ensure high-quality development and housing opportunities for local area workers. Succesful projects include Avenue Lofts, JPI (now Solé Condos) and East Village.

The CRA also invested dollars to improve the areas streetscape. The CRA contracted with Glatting Jackson, a planning and architecture firm, to prepare a Precinct Plan that would develop a detailed urban design and implementation strategy for the area. The plan, once completed, will include a public investment plan to provide for infrastructure and streetscape improvements, as well as, proposed zoning code amendments. The Plan will serve as a demonstration project for implementing strategies outlined in the Consolidated Downtown Master Plan.
