Adult Swim

Great way to stay in shape! Swimming increases cardio, strengthens muscles, increases flexibility, and helps with weight loss.

Monday/Thursdays: 6:45-7:45 p.m.

Tuesday/Thursday: 9:00-11:00 a.m.

Saturday: 9:00-11:00 a.m.

Recreational Swim & Water PlaygroundRiverland Water Playground

Go for a swim or lounge poolside. Croissant pool is heated and offers a great way to spend time with family and friends. An adult must directly accompany children under the age of eight.

Annual Pass Rates: Residents: $5.00/year
Non-residents: $7.50/year

 

Pass holders have unlimited admissions to Recreational Swim or the Water Playground at Riverland, Croissant, Bass, Carter, and Lauderdale Manors pools for 1 year from date of purchase. Each guest 8 years of age and older must purchase an Annual Pass for Recreational Swim or Water Playground admission. Children under 8 years old are admitted at no charge when accompanied by a current Annual Pass holder over the age of 16. Maximum capacity limits apply. Passes can be purchased using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express at Riverland Pool during normal recreation swim hours. Outside groups must have a reservation prior to visit.

Water Playground
Our water playground is great for the little ones, with water squirting from every direction, animals to climb on, and water cannons and slides to enjoy. An adult Annual Pass Holder must directly accompany children under the age of eight. Open spring break week through Thanksgiving weekend.

Saturdays & Sunday: 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
   
Fall Hours: August 27 - November 20 
 Saturdays: 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Registration and payment are accepted in the form of Visa, MasterCard, and American Express at Riverland Park Pool. Photo ID required for registration.

Class Descriptions

Parent Toddler         Ages: 6 months - 3 years     30 min

Parent accompanies child in water; emphasis is placed on teaching both child and parent basic aquatic and safety skills.           

Saturdays:   10:00 - 10:30 a.m.

Level 1                    Ages: 3 years+                       30 min

Basic skills include breath control, kicking, floating, and simple stroke techniques are emphasized.

Saturdays:   9:15 - 9:45 a.m.
Saturdays: 10:45 - 11:15 a.m.

Level 2*                     Ages: 3 years+                      30 min

Swim test required for registration. Skills include orientation to deep water, arm strokes with kicking on front and back, turning over and basic safety skills.

Saturdays:   10:00 - 10:30 a.m.

Level 3*                    Ages: 4 years+                        45 min

Swim test required for registration. Skills include diving, dolphin kick, reversing direction and safety skills. Continued skill development of freestyle and backstroke.

Saturdays:     11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

 

Teen/Adult Level 1    Ages: 13 years+                    45 min

Basic skills include breath control, kicking, floating, and simple stroke techniques are emphasized.

Sundays:     11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

 

Adapted Swim Lessons

Moderate intensity water aerobics class focusing on range-of-motion, flexibility, and strengthening muscles. Ages 16+.
