FREE BIKE VALET

Fort Lauderdale offers you FREE bike valet service on Friday, July 4 from 12:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This service is provided by Cycle Mobility. Exercise, relieve traffic congestion, and promote sustainability by bicycling to the beach.

SUN TROLLEY EXTENDED HOURS!

The Sun Trolley Las Olas and Beach links will operate from 9:30 a.m. to midnight on Friday, July 4. Fares are $1 each way or $3 for an all-day pass. To ride, just wave your hand to flag the driver and board. Download the free Sun Trolley Tracker app at www.suntrolley.com to track trolley locations in real time!

WATER TAXI

The Water Taxi will have special service available for the 4th of July. Visit their website for information.

BRIDGES

No special bridge closures are anticipated for this event. Drawbridges will occasionally be up to allow regular boat traffic to pass, as usual.

LEAVE YOUR FIREWORKS AT HOME

If you are planning on spending the 4th of July on Fort Lauderdale Beach, you will want to leave your fireworks at home. The general public will not be permitted to light fireworks of any kind on Fort Lauderdale Beach this July 4th. The City of Fort Lauderdale Fire Marshal’s Office is asking that you let the professionals provide the fireworks show for you.
