Fort Lauderdale Fire-Rescue personnel honored at “Salute to EMS Professionals Breakfast”
At an awards celebration on May 19, 2008, several Fire-Rescue personnel were honored for outstanding performance:
- FF/PM John Heiser & Lt. Doug Stanley, development of Department Protocols
- FF/PM Karen Niosi - Educator of the Year
- B/C David DiPetrillo - Innovator of the Year
- Lt. Troy Lanier - EMT of the Year
In addition, Tim Edkin, Sherri Adams and Suzanne LeBlanc with the City’s Information Technology Department were honored for their outstanding work with MedUSA and MDT.
The event was held at Broward General Medical Center.
