Celebrate Black History Month with Kijiji Moja

Kijiji Moja, which means "one village" in Swahili, is a fun family event featuring ethnic crafts, storytelling and live stage performances. Featured performers include Mocko Jumbie Stilt Dancers, Ballet Brika, and poetry by Sista Vanya. A number of school and neighborhood groups will also perform.

This event, co-sponsored by the Durrs Homeowners Association, is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be available. For more information, please call (954) 828-5411.
