32nd Annual Community Appearance Board Award Winners (2010)

The City of Fort Lauderdale Community Appearance Board is pleased to announce the winners of the 32nd Annual Community Appearance Awards. The winners were named at the Board’s annual awards program, which was held on May 13, 2010 at the Bahia Mar Beach Resort & Yachting Center.

The Community Appearance Board recognized homeowners, architects, landscapers, contractors, developers and homeowners associations for outstanding achievement in urban design and development, and for their efforts to enhance the City’s visual image and economic vitality.

Community Appearance Awards were presented in a variety of categories for new construction and renovation projects. Commercial and residential high- and low-rise properties were recognized, as well as residential properties less than 1,500 square feet to more than 3,000 square feet. Awards were also given for outstanding landscape, institutional, municipal facilities/parks and recreation, retail, and special projects.

The annual awards event is funded through sponsorships and annual event ticket sales.
