Construction on the Harborage Isle Drive Bridge will begin on Monday, June 13, 2011 and is expected to continue for the next six months while the bridge undergoes a complete replacement.

The bridge replacement project will span the following three phases:
- Phase I: Demolition and reconstruction of the west side of the bridge,
- Phase II: Demolition and reconstruction of the east side of the bridge, and
- Phase III: Construction of the sidewalk on the west side of the bridge.
While construction is taking place, the bridge will be reduced to one lane. Traffic will be maintained through the use of 24-hour temporary electrical traffic lights. Motorists should expect delays in the affected area and are encouraged to travel slowly in the work zone to ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians, and other motorists.
Residents in the construction area may experience temporary utility (e.g., electric, cable, gas, water, etc.) interruptions resulting from the relocation of service lines.
