Captain in charge of the Criminal Investigations Division

As an Officer, Jack was assigned to Patrol, the Dist III Special Problems Unit, and the Street Crimes Unit. As a Detective, he was a member of the Street Narcotics Unit (Raiders), Major Narcotics Unit and Staff Inspections Unit. Promoted to Sergeant in 2000, he was assigned to in Patrol, the Street Narcotics Unit, Major Narcotics and Internal Affairs. Jack has also served as a member and supervisor on the Department’s SWAT team. He is an instructor in the areas of firearms, narcotics investigation and police tactics. Promoted to Captain in 2005, he was in charge of the Office of Internal Affairs before returning to the Operations Division.
