| Responsibilities: | Captain Gregory is in charge of the Criminal Investigations Division. This division is responsible for providing leadership, expertise and resources that support line operations in order to improve the quality of life in our community. The division is comprised of units charged with investigating Auto Thefts, Burglaries, Economic Crimes, Homicides, Special Victim Crimes, Violent Crimes and Juvenile Crimes in addition to providing a host of other special services. These include Fingerprint Classifications, Crime Scene Investigations, School Resource Officers, Case Management and the Photo Lab. There are 101 sworn and civilian employees assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division. They are dedicated to working together with citizens as well as the Patrol District Officers to enhance Community Policing and to reduce crime and the fear of crime throughout the City of Fort Lauderdale. |
