Assistant Chief Tom Harrington
Responsibilities: Tom Harrington has served the Fort Lauderdale Police Department since October of 1988. Tom has been assigned to the Patrol Division, the Special Investigations Division, Office of Internal Affairs and the Support Services Bureau. He holds a Masters of Science Degree in Management from St. Thomas University and is a graduate of the 227th Session of the FBI National Academy. Tom has received 28 departmental commendations and 32 public commendations including Officer of the Month. Tom’s new assignment is Assistant Chief of the Support Services Bureau.
