| Responsibilities: | Captain Peney is assigned to the Patrol Division - District 3, Shift 3 |
| History: | As an Officer, Captain Peney was assigned to Patrol Division, the Dist II & III Special Problems Units, the Street Crimes Unit and the Honor Guard. As a Detective, he was a member of the Street Narcotics Unit (Raiders). Promoted to Sergeant in July of 1996, he was assigned to in Patrol Division, the Street Narcotics Unit, and the Tactical Impact Unit. As a Sergeant he also served on the SWAT Team, Dive Team and Honor Guard. Captain Peney is also a certified firearms instructor. Captain Peney has received 23 Departmental and 57 Public Commendations and has received the Officer of the Month and Lifesaving Awards. |
