City of Fort Lauderdale to Close Andrews Avenue Northbound Lanes on North Side of Davie Boulevard

- As part of the WaterWorks 2011 Water and Wastewater Capital Improvement Program, the City of Fort Lauderdale will temporarily close the northbound lanes of Andrews Avenue on the north side of Davie Boulevard from 8 p.m. Thursday, April 19 to 5 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2007. Crews will be installing a new water main.
Motorists wanting to travel north on Andrews Avenue from Davie Boulevard will be detoured to SW 3 Avenue and SE 3 Avenue. Southbound traffic on Andrews Avenue and east-west traffic on Davie Boulevard will not be impacted.
Motorists are encouraged to follow posted detour signs and travel slowly in the construction area to ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians and other motorists.
The City of Fort Lauderdale’s Water and Wastewater Capital Improvement Program, or WaterWorks 2011, includes the construction of water and sanitary sewer connection improvements throughout the City of Fort Lauderdale.
