City of Fort Lauderdale to Close SE 3 Avenue on North Side of Davie Boulevard

- As part of the WaterWorks 2011 Water and Wastewater Capital Improvements Program, the City of Fort Lauderdale will temporarily close SE 3 Avenue on the north side of Davie Boulevard from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on both Monday, April 23 and on Tuesday, April 24, 2007. Crews will be installing a new water main.
Motorists wanting to travel north on SE 3 Avenue from Davie Boulevard or south on SE 3 to Davie Boulevard will be detoured to Andrews Avenue and to Federal Highway. East-west traffic on Davie Boulevard will not be impacted.
Motorists are encouraged to follow posted detour signs and travel slowly in the construction area to ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians and other motorists.
The City of Fort Lauderdale’s Water and Wastewater Capital Improvements Program, or WaterWorks 2011, includes the construction of water and sanitary sewer connection improvements throughout the City of Fort Lauderdale.
