Fort Lauderdale - The City of Fort Lauderdale is seeking focus group participants to assist in evaluating park and recreation services within the community. The focus group results will be used by the City to develop a Master Plan for its parks, recreation facilities, trails and services. Focus group meetings will take place on October 24 at Holiday Park and October 25 at Joseph C. Carter Park, both evenings at 6:00 p.m. Residents, partner agency/organization representatives, business community representatives, and users of facilities and services are invited to participate.

The participants will be asked to measure the extent to which the parks, recreation facilities, programs, and services meet the needs of the community; and what future facilities, amenities, services, and programs may be desired.

Green Play, LLC., a nationally renowned park and recreation consulting firm, will facilitate the focus groups. For more information, contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (954) 828- PARK or visit us online at www.fortlauderdale.gov.
