Fort Lauderdale - The City of Fort Lauderdale is proud to host the third annual Neighborhood Services Night on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, to promote City programs available to residents.  The free event will be held in partnership with the Council of Fort Lauderdale Civic Associations and will take place from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., on the 8th floor of City Hall, located at 100 N. Andrews Avenue.  The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Neighborhood Services Night will be structured as an open house, allowing residents to attend at anytime between 6 and 8 p.m.  The event will provide citizens with an opportunity to meet staff from every City department and learn about a wide variety of programs, services and activities, including the City’s new parks and rec. classes, recycling programs and resident parking pass.

Elected officials, City staff and representatives from the Council of Fort Lauderdale Civic Associations will be available to provide informational materials and answer questions.  The City of Fort Lauderdale Police and Fire-Rescue Departments will have apparatus on display for the public in the parking lot adjacent to City Hall.  The event will also offer light refreshments.  Free parking will be available on the first floor of the City Hall parking garage.
