Kick off the New Year with Jazz Brunch

Fort Lauderdale - The City of Fort Lauderdale will kick off the 17th season of the SunTrust Sunday Jazz Brunch this Sunday, January 6, 2008.  If you made a resolution to get more out of life, spend more time with family and friends, or perhaps get more exercise, this is the perfect way to get your resolution started off on the right foot. 

Enjoy free, live, outdoor jazz concerts from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in four remarkable locations along the Riverwalk promenade in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale. 
Sunday’s Jazz Brunch will feature the following performances:

  • Esplanade Stage: Jimmy Cavallo Quintet
  • Broward Center Peck Courtyard: Peter Betan and Marc Berner
  • Connie Hoffman Gazebo Stage: Davis and Dow Hot House Swing
  • Las Olas Riverfront Stage: Billy Bones

Everyone is welcome!  There is plenty of room to set up chairs, blankets and picnic baskets to experience the fabulous entertainment.  Patrons can also stroll along the historic brick-lined walkway to enjoy live music while browsing items from local merchants and enjoying food from area restaurants.  Public parking is conveniently located in the City Park Garage at 150 SE 2nd Street, or the Arts & Science Garage at 101 SW 5th Avenue.
