Get Hands-On at Big Toy & Truck Extravaganza

Highly Anticipated Event Will Provide Free Entertainment for the Whole Family

Fort Lauderdale - Kids of all ages will enjoy the Big Toy & Truck Extravaganza, which will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at George English Park, located at 1101 Bayview Drive, just north of the Galleria Mall. Hosted by the City of Fort Lauderdale, this free event offers an up-close look at a variety of cars, trucks, and specialized equipment while encouraging hands-on activity.

Now in its 12th year, the Big Toy & Truck Extravaganza will feature several different types of vehicles for children and adults to view, climb, and operate, including a Fire Engine, Front Loader, SWAT & Bomb Squad Vehicles, Recycling Truck, Bucket Truck, School Bus, Rescue Truck, Ladder Truck, and more!

The event will feature participation from several City of Fort Lauderdale departments, including Parks & Recreation, Police, and Fire-Rescue. Free parking is available on site. For additional information, call (954) 828-5363.
