City of Fort Lauderdale Traffic Advisory: Intersection of Sunrise Boulevard & NE 15th Avenue Temporarily Closed

Fort Lauderdale - The intersection at N.E. 15th Avenue and E. Sunrise Boulevard is temporarily closed today, Friday, July 17, 2009, to restore the roadway following the repair of a broken 8-inch water main.

Motorists should expect heavy traffic delays in and around the restricted area. Motorists should travel slowly in the detour areas to ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians and other motorists. The City of Fort Lauderdale Police Department staff is in the area to direct traffic through the detour area.

Water has been restored to the area and the intersection is expected to open early this afternoon.
