S.W. 11th Avenue Swing Bridge to Re-Open

Fort Lauderdale - The City of Fort Lauderdale is pleased to announce that the S.W. 11th Avenue Swing Bridge will reopen to vehicular and pedestrian traffic on Sunday, August 1, 2010.

The Swing Bridge closed on August 11, 2009 for a yearlong overhaul and rehabilitation. The repairs have been completed on time, and the bridge is ready to reopen to the public.
