Fort Lauderdale Firefighters Announce Holiday Toy Drive

Fort Lauderdale - The City of Fort Lauderdale Fire-Rescue Department and the Firefighters Benevolent Association kick-off the 2010 Holiday Toy Drive this week.  The public is invited to share the spirit of the holidays by donating new, unwrapped toys for Fort Lauderdale children in need.

Firefighters will wrap and distribute the toys.

Toys may be donated at any Fort Lauderdale Fire-Rescue Station from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week, now through December 18, 2010.  Donations are also being accepted at City Hall, 100 N. Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale.
