TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Portion of Riverland Road to Temporarily Close for Water Main Repair

Water temporarily shut off for properties on Riverland Road between S.W. 14th and S.W. 16th Streets

Fort Lauderdale - The City of Fort Lauderdale has temporarily closed a portion of Riverland Road to repair a 6-inch water main. The boundaries for the road closure are as follows:

North boundary: S.W. 13th Court
South boundary: S.W. 16th Street
East boundary: S.W. 26th Terrace
West boundary: S.W. 27th Terrace

City of Fort Lauderdale crews are on site directing traffic and making the necessary repairs. In order to repair the water main, City crews have shut off the water to properties on Riverland Road between S.W 14th and S.W. 16th Streets. The water will remain off for approximately four hours.

Motorists should expect traffic delays in and around the restricted area.
