Gas Leak Temporarily Closes Sistrunk Boulevard at NW 16th Avenue

Fort Lauderdale - TECO is currently on the scene of a gas leak at the intersection of NW 6th Street and NW 16 Avenue. Fire Rescue has temporarily plugged the leak. At approximately 2:00 p.m., TECO arrived on the scene to begin making the repair. The intersection is currently closed. Motorists should avoid the area pending repair.
