Construction Work, Lane Closures on U.S. 1 Start on Monday, April 4

Federal Highway traffic impacted from SE 17th Street to Broward Boulevard

Fort Lauderdale - The Florida Department of Transportation has advised that construction work on U.S. 1 (Federal Highway) is beginning on Monday, April 4, 2011.

One lane of U.S. 1 will be closed in each direction from SE 17th Street to Broward Boulevard. The lane closures are around the clock until further notice.

To avoid delays, motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
