TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Portion of N.E. 11th Street to Temporarily Close Between Bayview Drive and N.E. 25th Avenue for Sewer Line Installation

Fort Lauderdale - The City of Fort Lauderdale will temporarily close a small portion of N.E. 11th Street between Bayview Drive and N.E. 25th Avenue for approximately one week beginning Tuesday, May 3 at 8:00 a.m. The temporary road closure is necessary to allow crews to install a new sewer line. The City expects to reopen N.E. 11th Street by the end of the day Tuesday, May 10, 2011.

Local traffic will have access to the area and signs will be posted to alert motorists of the traffic restrictions. Motorists should expect delays in and around the affected area and travel slowly in the work zone to ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians, and other motorists.
