300 Block of SW 17th Street to Remain Closed Until Morning

Update: Public Works has completed the sewer main repair. The 300 block of SW 17th Street is now open.

Fort Lauderdale - Fort Lauderdale Public Works crews have stopped the sewer main leak at 301 SW 17th Street.  Crews on the scene are working to repair the line.  The roadway is expected to remain closed in both directions for repairs until Wednesday morning, July 13. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.

NW 9th Avenue
Public Works crews have almost completed repairs and clean up of the sewer line leak at 1480 SW 9th Avenue.  Light traffic in the area is currently being detoured.  Completion of the project is expected in the next few hours.   

NE 19th Street
Public Works crews have slowed the underwater leak at 2301 NE 19th Street.  Crews expect to have the leak secured shortly.  There is no impact on traffic in the area.
