Neighbors Encouraged to Attend Open House Meetings to Provide Input for Citywide Vision

Fort Lauderdale - The City of Fort Lauderdale announces the launch of a comprehensive visioning initiative, “Fort Lauderdale – Our City, Our Vision.” The purpose of the initiative is to craft a vision for the future that reflects input from the entire community. The public input provided during the process will help identify community priorities and generate a shared vision that will provide direction for future policy and decision-making.
The citywide program will kick off on Monday, October 3, with a series of four public open house meetings. The open house meetings, which will take place in each City Commission District, will provide an opportunity for everyone in Fort Lauderdale to begin participating in Fort Lauderdale – Our City, Our Vision. In addition to sharing their ideas, attendees will learn about the overall visioning initiative, the critical role the public will play and the anticipated outcomes.
Neighbors are encouraged to attend at least one of the open house meetings listed below to get involved in this important initiative. The meetings will follow an open house format, so attendees can arrive anytime during the meeting. Free refreshments generously donated by Publix will be provided.
