Fort Lauderdale to Host Gourmet Truck Expo

Centennial Celebration Continues with 25 Food Trucks, Music and Kids Activities

Fort Lauderdale - The City of Fort Lauderdale will partner with the Sun Sentinel to host Gourmet Truck Expo in Huizenga Plaza from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2011. This family-friendly event will feature savory treats from approximately 25 of the area’s most popular food truck vendors, beverages, a DJ, and bounce house. Huizenga Plaza is located in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale at 32 East Las Olas Boulevard, just east of Andrews Avenue.

Bring the whole family to kick off the holiday season and celebrate the100th Birthday of the City of Fort Lauderdale. Gourmet truck vendors scheduled to participate in the expo include: BC Tacos, Clarabelle’s Cupcakes, Gastropod, Jefe’s Original Fish Taco and Burger, Latin Burger, Mojo On The Go, Moty’s Grill, Ms. Cheezious, Nacho Bizness, Roving Stove and Slow Food Truck.

Event Parking
Event parking will be available in the City Park Garage, which is located at 150 SE 2nd Street.

Road Closure
Please note that East Las Olas Boulevard will be closed to vehicular traffic from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2011.
