City of Fort Lauderdale Lifts Precautionary Boil Water Advisory

Fort Lauderdale - The City of Fort Lauderdale Public Works Department, in consultation with the Broward County Public Health Department, HAS LIFTED THE PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE for all Fort Lauderdale water customers, as well as customers in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Oakland Park, Port Everglades Authority, Village of Sea Ranch Lakes, Wilton Manors and sections of Davie and Tamarac.
Laboratory results confirm that City of Fort Lauderdale water meets all primary drinking water standards.
The advisory was issued as a result of a water main break that occurred on December 24, 2011 on N.E. 38th Street between N.E. 5th and N.E. 6th Avenues.
