Fort Lauderdale - The City of Fort Lauderdale has temporarily closed a section of the southernmost eastbound lane on Broward Boulevard at N.W. 24th Avenue to repair a broken 6” water main.
Motorists traveling eastbound on Broward Boulevard will be detoured around the affected area and traffic will be reduced to two lanes beginning at approximately N.W. 27th Avenue. Motorists should expect delays in and around the affected area.
City Utilities crews are currently on site repairing the water main break. Repairs are expected to be completed later this evening.
Fort Lauderdale water customers located within the area may experience low water pressure or temporary service interruptions while the repair is being made.
