Online Auction

The City of Fort Lauderdale, as a casual seller, is selling surplus vehicles and other City property via an onine public auction. Items are currently online and available for bidding. The auction closes on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at 1:00 p.m., EST. Please visit www.renebates.com to participate. All property will be sold "as is" and "where is." The City makes no warranty or guarantee to the condition, year of manufacture, model number or operation of any unit of property. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. THE TERMS ARE CASH ONLY.

Terms: All items MUST be removed by September 12, 2008. No Saturday or Sunday removal. After this date, a $25.00 per day, per item, storage fee will be charged to the buyer. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS or EXTENSIONS. Once the on-line payment in full has been made, please go to the Fleet Services Office (220 SW 14 Avenue, behind the Police Department on 1300 W. Broward Blvd.) to complete the proper paperwork between the hours of 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. This paperwork will authorize you to remove your items at the fleet yard. The City of Fort Lauderdale DOES NOT provide transportation or loading services for buyers to remove their merchandise. Any and all methods of lifting, towing & hauling are the buyer's responsibility. The ownership of any items left or not paid for by the final day of removal will revert back to the City of Fort Lauderdale, FL and the buyer may be banned from future auctions.

You will not be invoiced for the items you have purchased until the entire online auction is over.
