Best Practices Award for M/WBE Directory
The National Institute
of Governmental Purchasing has recognized the City of Fort Lauderdale's Procurement
Services as a distinguished finalist for the Best Practices Award for its on-line
access to Minority/Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Directory.

M/WBE Directory was awarded for being a new and innovative "best practice."
The Directory was created to provide immediate access of a minority vendor list
to City employees who obtain informal quotes for goods or services. Generally
used by City employees through the Intranet, the Directory may be viewed here
as well.
The City of Fort Lauderdale Police and Fire Retirement System has a Pension Administration Software RFP posted on their website.
