Midtown Summerfest is ready to land on Historic Sistrunk Boulevard on August 1, 2012.
The City of Fort Lauderdale in conjunction with the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitor's Bureau, and the Midtown Collaborative are pleased to announce a new event that will have everyone dancing in the street - MIDTOWN SUMMERFEST!
Get ready for a hot night in the city chock full of art, culture and entertainment. The Midtown Summerfest on Historic Sistrunk Boulevard is guaranteed to bring the groove back to Fort Lauderdale!
With live performances, food trucks, a special kids zone, merchandise vendors and an adult party like no other, Midtown Summerfest has something for everyone!
Historic Sistrunk Boulevard is back and better than ever. If you have not visited lately, pack a bag, jump in your car and bring the family to Fort Lauderdale for the 1st Annual Midtown Summerfest on Historic Sistrunk Boulevard.
Sistrunk Boulevard will be closed from NW 9th Avenue to NW 15th Avenue beginning at 10:00am for the Midtown Summerfest. BCT routes 11 and 40 will detour as follows:
Westbound:
West on Sistrunk Boulevard to NW 9th Avenue
North on NW 9th Avenue to NW 7th Street
West on NW 7th Street* to NW 15th Terrace
South on NW 15th Terrace to Sistrunk Boulevard
West on Sistrunk Boulevard over the regular route
Eastbound:
The eastbound buses will travel the reverse routes.
NOTE: NW 7th Street is a narrow road, use caution and travel at a slow speed.
These detours are subject to change, without notice, due to traffic control by the Fort Lauderdale police department.
