The Broward County Waterway Cleanup, organized by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida, is the county’s largest and longest-running environmental event. In 2025, more than 20 tons of trash and debris were removed from 38 waterway sites across Broward County, thanks to the help of more than 1,100 volunteers and 200 boats/personal watercrafts.
This year’s Cleanup will be on Saturday, March 7, 2026, starting at 9 a.m. You do not need a boat to participate! Choose from more than 30 sites across Broward County to volunteer at and help clean our community and waterways! Register today at https://waterwaycleanup.org/registration.
