SE 3rd Avenue has reopened. The bridge has been repaired and is functional.

Original Notice (Thursday, April 4 at 4:40 p.m.)

SE 3rd Avenue is closed in both directions at the bridge over the New River. Please avoid the SE 3rd Avenue area from Broward Boulevard south to Davie Boulevard.

The SE 3rd Avenue Bridge is locked down. The New River is closed to marine traffic in this area.
