Fort Lauderdale City Team Members Promoted to New Roles

Acting City Manager Susan Grant has announced several well-deserved role changes and promotions within the City of Fort Lauderdale team, recognizing exemplary individuals who have consistently demonstrated commitment, expertise, and dedication to the community.

In a statement released by Acting City Manager Susan Grant, the following colleagues have been congratulated on their new positions:

Laura Reece

Laura Reece

Laura Reece has been appointed as the Acting Assistant City Manager. With this new role, Reece will oversee crucial departments, including the Office of Management and Budget, Finance, Human Resources, Community Redevelopment Agency, and the Office of Professional Standards.

Ben Rogers

Ben Rogers

Ben Rogers also assumes the position of Acting Assistant City Manager. Rogers will be responsible for managing Transportation and Mobility, Parks and Recreation, Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, and Real Estate Office/P3 Coordination.

Yvette Matthews

Yvette Matthews

Yvette Matthews steps into the role of Acting Director of the Office of Management and Budget, where her expertise will be pivotal in managing the city's financial resources effectively.

Milos Majstorovic

Milos Majstorovic

Milos Majstorovic has been appointed the Acting Director of Transportation and Mobility. He will lead efforts to enhance transportation infrastructure and mobility solutions within the city.

Anthony Fajardo

Anthony Fajardo

Assistant City Manager Anthony Fajardo will lead the Development Services Department, Public Works, Neighbor Support, Information Technology Services, and Agenda Coordination.
