Post Date:September 05, 2024 1:09 PM

Infinite Reality, a leader in 3D and virtual reality technology, has announced an exciting new partnership with Google that will bring the power of Google’s cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) to its state-of-the-art movie studio and entertainment complex in Fort Lauderdale. This collaboration represents a major leap forward in the City’s ongoing efforts to attract innovative industries and create job opportunities while positioning Fort Lauderdale as a hub for next-generation technology and entertainment.

Infinite Reality, already spearheading the development of a $163.9 million movie studio in the City, will leverage Google’s Gemini AI to create immersive digital worlds, revolutionizing how customers and brands interact in digital spaces. The movie studio, which includes sound stages, a film school, and immersive media production spaces, will now offer an even more dynamic range of services through the introduction of AI-powered 3D environments.

“The announcement today of a business partnership between Infinite Reality and Google is an incredible and exciting step forward for the City’s movie studio project since Infinite Reality will be our principal tenant,“ said Mayor Dean Trantalis. “When its construction is completed, the movie studio now will be at the forefront of the rapidly developing use of technology in content creation. I fully expect that this will open the door for more tech and content creation firms to move to the region with hundreds of good-paying jobs as they take advantage of the presence of the Infinite Reality-Google team. This is truly transformative for our city.”

The new entertainment complex, located at 1400 NW 31st Ave, is expected to begin construction in 2025, with the movie studio set to open in 2026. With Google’s AI technologies at its core, the facility will empower local talent, including students at nearby Dillard High School, providing them with access to industry-leading tools and training for careers in film, media, and technology.

As part of the city’s commitment to building a more resilient and vibrant future, the project is expected to spark further growth in the region, attracting other innovative businesses and creating a ripple effect of economic benefits.
