E. Las Olas Boulevard Asphalt Improvement Project

The information and map below have been updated to provide a clear understanding of the area where bike lane pavement markings will be reapplied to previously designated bike lanes. We apologize for any confusion caused by the prior version.
The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with All County Paving to apply bike lane pavement markings to previously designated bike lanes along E. Las Olas Boulevard from SE 11th Avenue to SE 15th Avenue in Beverly Heights and Colee Hammock.
Work will take place overnight on Wednesday, June 25 and Thursday, June 26 between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. This project is expected to be completed by 7 a.m. on Friday, June 27. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
This work is the final component of the E. Las Olas Boulevard Asphalt Improvement Project, which began in March 2025 and included resurfacing E. Las Olas Boulevard from SE 6th Avenue to SE 15th Avenue.
Traffic & Parking Impacts
- Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed along E. Las Olas Boulevard from SE 11th Avenue to SE 15th Avenue overnight during work hours.
- No full closures or detours are expected.
- Access to on-street parking spaces along E. Las Olas Boulevard from SE 11th Avenue to SE 15th Avenue may be limited overnight during work hours.
- Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.

The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with All County Paving to apply new pavement markings to the three sections of Las Olas Boulevard that were resurfaced in March 2025 from SE 6th Avenue to SE 15th Avenue in Beverly Heights and Colee Hammock.
Construction will begin on Sunday, May 4, 2025, and is expected to be completed on Friday, May 9, 2025. Work will take place on Sunday through Thursday evenings between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. as crews move from west to east within the project limits.
This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Traffic & Parking Impacts
- Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed along Las Olas Boulevard from SE 6th Avenue to SE 15th Avenue Sunday through Thursday evenings from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. No full closures or detours are expected.

The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with All County Paving to resurface three sections of Las Olas Boulevard from SE 6th Avenue to SE 15th Avenue in Beverly Heights and Colee Hammock. This project includes:
- Removing brick pavers
- Milling and resurfacing asphalt
- Applying new pavement markings
Construction will begin on Monday, March 10, 2025, and is expected to be completed on Friday, March 28, 2025. Work will take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Intermittent noise from heavy machinery, equipment and backup alarms is expected while this overnight work is taking place.
The project will be completed in phases to minimize impacts to neighbors and businesses in the area and accommodate planned events:
Phase 1 - Monday, March 10 – Friday, March 14
- SE 6th Avenue to SE 9th Avenue
Phase 2 - Monday, March 17 – Friday, March 21
- SE 10th Terrace to SE 15th Avenue
Phase 3 - Monday, March 24 – Friday, March 28
- SE 8th Avenue to SE 11th Avenue

Traffic & Parking Impacts
- Full closures are expected along Las Olas Boulevard Monday through Thursday evenings from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- On-street parking spaces in each area will be unavailable for the duration of each phase.
- Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed.
- Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
