Crews completed an excavation in the area and restored the roadway using temporary asphalt. All lanes are open.

Please note that Broward County is doing work in this area as well. Additional lane closures are possible throughout the day.

Original Notice (Tuesday, August 26 at 4:25 p.m.)

City crews are performing exploratory digging in response to a possible water main leak at the intersection of N. Andrews Avenue and NW/NE 8th Street in Progresso Village.

• One northbound lane of N. Andrews Avenue will be closed between Progresso Drive and NW/NE 9th Street.
• One northbound lane will remain open in this area within the median.
• Drivers should follow posted signs and drive with caution.

This news post will be updated when all lanes of northbound N. Andrews Avenue reopen.
