The City of Fort Lauderdale and Vortex Lining Services are making improvements to the stormwater system along NE 15th Avenue north of NE 53rd Street in Coral Ridge Isles. The work includes:

• Cleaning an existing 60-inch stormwater pipe
• Capturing video within an existing 60-inch stormwater pipe to document its condition
• Lining an existing 60-inch stormwater pipe to extend its longevity

Construction will begin on Monday, September 8, 2025, and is expected to be completed by Friday, September 26, 2025. Work will take place Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Traffic Impacts

• One southbound lane of NE 15th Avenue between NE 53rd Court and NE 53rd Street may be closed daily during work hours.
• Traffic control personnel will direct traffic near the work area during work hours.
• Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
