UPDATE: Project Schedule:

• NW 12th Street: March 2 through March 20, 2026
• NW 13th Court: March 23 through April 3, 2026
• NW 15th Place: April 6 through April 17, 2026
• NW 17th Street: April 20 through April 30, 2026

The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with FG Construction to enhance safety and mobility on NW 15th Avenue from West Sunrise Boulevard to Mills Pond Park. The project scope includes but is not limited to:

• Crosswalks
• ADA compliant ramps
• Roadway drainage improvements
• Sidewalk widening 
• Raised Intersections
• Roadway signs and pavement markings
• Street lighting and landscaping

Construction is expected to begin October 27, 2025, and be completed by mid-August 2026. Work will take place Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen conditions.

• There will be partial closures on NW 15th Avenue with sections closing in phases as work progresses.
• Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.

This project, in partnership with Broward County, is funded through the Surtax-Funded Municipal Transportation Program.
