The City of Fort Lauderdale, in coordination with Broward County, is making safety improvements on South Birch Road. The project scope includes, but is not limited to:

• Speed Cushion installation
• Pavement markings
• Related signage

Work is expected to begin the week of September 29 and be completed within 2 weeks. Crews will be on site Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

• A single-lane closure is expected on South Birch Road during speed cushion installation.
• Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
