The City of Fort Lauderdale is launching the Municipal Services Affordability (MSA) Program to help financially burdened households pay for their water, sewer, and sanitation services.
This program is designed to enhance housing stability and ensure all residents have uninterrupted access to essential services. If approved, the assistance is paid directly to your utility billing account.
Do you qualify? You may be eligible if you meet the following requirements:
- You are a Fort Lauderdale resident and are responsible for paying the municipal service bill.
- Your property is within the official Fort Lauderdale city limits.
- Your total household income does not exceed 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI), based on family size (as determined by HUD).
- A single household can receive up to $1,000 in assistance within a rolling twelve-month period.
